Linnane’s Bar is set in a beautiful location in the heart of County Clare, on New Quay Pier overlooking the sea and Aughinish Island at the back the with a view of the Burren landscape to the front. Linnane’s Bar was built over 300 years as a traditional thatched cottage with a small pub and post office. In the 1990’s Linnane’s Bar was extended opening up the back to the wonderful views of the bay. At Linnane’s, we serve light snacks to full dinner menu with a particular emphasis on local produces including Shellfish and Fish. Throughout the year traditional music sessions are organised, most often on Bank Holiday weekends. While visiting Linnane’s Lobster Bar, you can walk the Flaggy shore, stop at the beach and enjoy the view, or fish for mackerel off the Pier at New Quay. There are numerous places to stay locally including Guest Houses and Summer Houses to rent.
